Our Ultra Clear Melt and Pour Soap Base has set the new standard for "standard" glycerin soap base. It is crystal clear with no odor and is made from ALL VEGETABLE OIL. Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we don't use animal oils, our soap rinses clean leaving no film behind. All of our melt & pour soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized clear coconut oil, creating luxurious lather and sparkling clarity. Simply melt in the microwave, add soap scent, botanicals, objects, soap coloring, or colored pieces of white glycerin soap. You can really get creative with it!

Ingredients: Purified Water , Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Sorbitol, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES), Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Chloride.

Usage: A two pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the bar you are creating.

Directions: Melt soap in double boiler or microwave oven. DO NOT let the soap boil. Add color as desired (but not enough to discolor the soap bubbles - they must remain clear). Add no more than 1/2 ounce of soap-safe fragrance oil per pound of soap base. Pour into mold and let rest until solid and cool. Un-mold and wrap immediately.

NOTE: When making soaps it is good to remember that the melt & pour bases contain water as part of the formula. If they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We recommend fully wrapping the entire soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled. This should minimize any shrinkage.
