Our Goat’s Milk Melt and Pour Soap Base has set a new standard for glycerin soap base. This Goats Milk soap base combines the wonderfully creamy & restorative qualities of pure, natural goat milk with the cleansing and moisturizing benefits of Stephenson’s soap base to create a masterpiece of melt & pour soap. The milky color of this soap base is all natural - created by the addition of pure goat’s milk – no artificial colors have been added. Goat’s milk is prized for its remarkable skin care properties. Goat’s Milk is chock full of Vitamin A and Vitamin D which helps soften skin. This creates a magnificently creamy, soothing lather which helps make your skin soft and moisturized. Melt & pour soap bases are an ideal way to hand craft your own soap without the extra time, expense and experience needed to make soap "from scratch."

Unique Qualities and Features:
Ingredients: Purified Water, Glycerin, Sodium Stearate, Sorbitol, Goat's Milk, Propylene Glycol, Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES), Stearic Acid, Lauric Acid, Sodium Chloride
Usage: A two pound brick can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the bars you are creating.
Directions: Melt soap base in double boiler or microwave oven. DO NOT let the soap base boil. Add color as desired (but not so much to cause discoloration of the soap bubbles - they must remain clear). Add no more than 1/2 ounce of soap fragrance oil per pound of soap base. Pour into soap mold and let rest until solid and cool. Un-mold and wrap immediately.
NOTE: When making soaps it is good to remember that the melt & pour bases contain water as part of the formula. If they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. We recommend fully wrapping the entire soap bar as soon as it is poured and cooled to help minimize any shrinkage.
